Seattle, WA is definitely one of the best cities in the US! We enjoyed every minute of our stay there and our little one loved it so much as well!
Seattle has its unique beauty and personality! We went during the early November and we were able to witness its beautiful autumn! It was indeed full of beautiful scenery in every corner! On the cloudy days, Seattle becomes so dreamy and full of “ Twilight” vibes! It was just so pretty! It’s a very romantic city that has a lot to offer!
That being said, I am going to share with you our top Seattle attractions and things we’ve done in our fun adventure!
Here we go!
Top attractions and places to see with family in Seattle, Washington:
The Space Needle is indeed a must see in Seattle; you can purchase tickets to go to the top and take some amazing photos of the city’s views!
2. Fremont Troll
We decided to let Aydin visit the Fremont Troll because he is a big fan of spooky things! 😂 He loved the Fremont Troll and wasn’t afraid to clim up on it to take a photo with it! It is for sure a very uniquely designed stone sculpture. Whoever made the Fremont Troll must be so talented and creative!! In the end, making a quick stop to see the it was quite fun and well worth it!
3. Gas Works Park
Gas works Park is one of a kind type park. It was transformed to be a park for people to enjoy from being an actual gas plant in the past! How cool is that!! This park offers an amazing waterfront city view which is perfect for family photos. To top it all off, the Gas Works Park also has a playground to keep the little ones busy! I guarantee that you will be so glad you visited this park.
4. Pike Place market
Okay now, your trip to Seattle wouldn’t be complete without visiting the Pike Place Market. There are so much to do at the market, the first built Starbucks store is right in the middle of the Pike Place Market! 😍
5. The first Starbucks store
As I mentioned above, the first Starbucks store was established in 1971 and it is located in the middle of the Pike Place market! If you are a Starbucks fan then this is no doubt a must go place for you! ☕️
6. Gum Wall
The Gum Wall is as disgusting and amazing as it sounds 😂 I had to go and see it for myself because it was just so grossly cool! Plus it is also in the Pike Place market so why would you want to miss it?! And yes I left my gum on the Gum Wall, I’m a happy girl now!🤪
7. The Great Wheel
The Great Wheel is very close to the Pike Place market as well, you can actually see it from the patio at the market and take a photo with it! You can also walk to the Great Wheel directly and go for a ride on it!
8. Kerry park
Did you know that most post card photos of the Seattle were taken at the Kerry park? The view is indisputably mesmerizing and breathtaking! It’s not really a park designed for kids to play in but Aydin loved looking at the city from the park. As you can see, the photos turned out great!
9. Westlake Center
This mommy always look for a shopping mall wherever she goes for a trip😝 If you are a mom who is like me and want some shopping adventure, I highly recommend the Westlake Center. It has most of the major retail stores such as Zara, Nordstrom, Macy’s, etc.
(BONUS) Things to eat in Seattle :
Cafe Turko is a Turkish restaurant in Seattle and it has amazing reviews online about how delicious the food is; however, the food tasted even better in person! Aydin loves homemade meals and Turkish cuisine never disappoints!
2. Piroshky Piroshky
Piroshky Piroshky is a Russian bakery store located in the Pike Place market serving over 20 varieties of handmade piroshki. It is so popular that most people who visit the Pike Place line up for some of their piroshkis!
3. Beecher’s cheese
Beecher’s cheese is well known for having the best mac & cheese in the world! We had to try it! And yes it was indeed the best for sure!
4. Clam Chowder
Clam Chowder is another must try in the Pike Place market! Made warm with fresh seafood, it gives you comfort especially on a chilly and rainy day.
5. KOREAN TOFU HOUSE
If you are big fan of Korean cuisine then you must try to eat at Korean Tofu House in Seattle! They have the best Korean tofu soup in town. I’m craving for it as I’m typing this out! Yummmmmm!
To conclude, we had a blast as a family in Seattle. In fact, I can say that this trip was one of the best we had so far! If you ever look for a place to visit where you want to see the best sceneries and eat the best foods, then I would highly recommend Seattle, WA!
